About Frenn Law

MAJOR BUSINESS DISPUTES RESOLVED

In 1996, the Journal communication combined the Milwaukee Journal and the Milwaukee Sentinel into the Journal Sentinel.  In the process, it laid off over 200 employees.  A major part of the compensation to these employees’ compensation was their participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan.  Journal Communication raised the price on the stock but would not let former employees participate in the new stock price.  Thomas L. Frenn led a team of four attorneys who recovered 8.9 million dollars for 156 former employees of Journal Communications.

In 1996, Thomas L. Frenn received a $180,000 for insurance clients from a bank, when an insurance agent cased premade checks and forged signature of insurance clients.

In 2020, a benefactor gave a one million dollar fund to a dance company.  The former executive director of the dance company tried to steal that money.  Thomas L. Frenn defeated Foley & Lardner and Godrey & Kahn, tow of the largest firms in this state, to recover 1.5 million dollars for the dance case.  This case went to the Wisconsin Supreme Court where Thomas L. Frenn prevailed.
